Walk Now for Autism Speaks (October 29th)

Mission Arizona Hockey teams will be participating in the the Walk Now for Autism Speaks again this fall.  We welcome your support for this important cause.  Please join us in our fight to make a difference in the lives of the more than 1 million Americans living with autism today. 
Autism is the second most common developmental disorder in the United States, affecting one in every 88 children born today. Despite some promising discoveries, the cause of autism is unknown and a cure does not exist. Research is crucial. Every 20 minutes another child is diagnosed with autism. Not only must we find ways to improve the quality of life for children and adults with autism, but we also must find a cure, and soon.  The Bradley C. Downing, III Memorial Toy Drive

This yearly toy drive provides new toys to many children in need during the holidays.  See the Mission website for more information on Bradley C. Downing and this very worthwhile cause.   New, unwrapped toys will be collected at Mission’s Annual Charity Games vs. the Chiefs and Holiday Gathering in December.  (More information on the Charity game(s) will be sent under separate cover.  HOWEVER, be sure to mark your calendars!)

St. Mary's Foood Bank

Mission teams will be assisting St. Mary's Food Bank again this Holiday Season!  Whether it be helping collect, sort or distribute food, Mission Arizona is always happy to assist this wonderful organization in its efforts!
