BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Alan Gagleard, President
Alan is a licensed attorney and CPA, starting his professional career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, CPAs, and practicing law in the Detroit, Michigan area from 1979 to 1985. Alan has been practicing law in Arizona since 1985 with his primary expertise in litigation and taxation. He currently owns and operates a PEO and Payroll company in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, Nancy and another partner. Alan will act as the initial president and general counsel to the Mission AZ Ice organization. His advice and counsel have been instrumental in the formation of Mission AZ Ice and we look to draw upon that expertise for many years to come.
Becky Taylor, Treasurer
Becky has been an involved volunteer in various aspects of hockey administration for the past 22 years. She and her family have also been heavily involved in both ice and roller activities. With more than 25 years experience in the book-keeping field, Becky is a valuable member of the Mission Arizona Ice team. She brings the experience necessary to help ensure and maintain the success of Mission AZ Ice.
Janet Moodie, Registrar/Secretary
Janet has been working in the credit union industry for 24 years, involved in the operation and success of these non-profit financial institutions as a member of the leadership team at the state and local levels. She has been involved with youth hockey for over 12 years as a team manager, travel coordinator, fundraiser and scheduler. She has also volunteered and raised funds for such institutions as Children's Miracle Network, benefiting Phoenix Children's Hospital and Tucson Medical Center. Janet is a talented and resourceful addition to the Mission team and we are grateful for her involvement!
Jeff Eades, Board Member
Jeff has been involved with youth hockey in numerous capacities since 1998. He has experience as a team manager, coach and board member at another youth hockey organization. Jeff also works for the NHL as an Off-Ice Official where his duties include penalty box attendant, goal judge and statistician. His experience at both the youth and professional level bring a unique and valuable perspective to the Mission Arizona Ice organization.

Following Mission's inaugural season in 2006, founder Jeremy Goltz and his wife, Brandi, launched Goltz Hockey in order to provide comprehensive and cohesive management services for this growing and dynamic youth hockey organization. Goltz Hockey serves as Director of Hockey Operations for Mission AZ Ice, overseeing all aspects of hockey operations, including the professional coaching staff, travel, and website administration.
MISSION STATEMENT:
~ To provide high quality skill development for all youth players.
~ To develop integrity not only on the ice, but in everyday life situations.
~ To develop life values through a positive youth sports experience.
Mission AZ Ice is dedicated to the betterment of young athletes. A Mission experience encompasses on-ice development as well as off-ice elements such as family, community service and academic performance. A Mission experience is about the whole child.
The measure of our success lies not in the number of banners we possess, but in the character our players display every single day.
