Special Needs Hockey
Mission Arizona Hockey is proud to announce our new Hockey Program,
Mission Special Edition!
Mission Special Edition is Arizona's first Youth Special Needs Hockey Program!! Our team consists of boys and girls ages 5-16, who face challenges that limit their opportunities to play "mainstream" sports. Special Edition provides a safe and supportive environment where kids can develop their skills, confidence, work ethic, team cooperation, and love of the sport! We are able to provide this program at no cost to its participants thanks to equipment donations, many dedicated volunteers, and the Mission 18U, 16U and 14U teams, who have donated their practice ice - and their time - mentoring the Special Edition players! We believe this model is the future of Special Needs Hockey! If you are interested in starting a Special Needs Hockey program at your local rink or travel program, please contact us. We are happy to help grow Special Needs Hockey in any way we can!
